UK interest rates cut to 0.5%

The Bank of England (BOE) has yesterday cut interest rates to 0.5%, yet another record low, and says it will now also boost the money supply to help revive the economy.
Interest rates have now been reduced six times in less than six months, since October 2008, and the latest cut from February’s 1% was expected.
